Tomas Nyberg works at the division of Solid-State Electronics at the Angstrom Laboratory, Uppsala University in Sweden where he also took his PhD in 1998.
Main research topic
Primary research focus is on experimental studies and modelling of the sputtering and reactive sputtering deposition process. Studied films are ranging from pure metal films, semiconducting and metallic 2D-sulphides, nitrides, oxides and carbides. Applications of interest are tribological films, sensor applications, neuromorphic devices, photovoltaics.
