Main research topic
Application of intense laser radiation as a technological tool in micro/nano dimensions: surface treatment by pulsed and continuous laser radiation, laser micro machining of materials, pulsed laser deposition of thin layers, diagnostics of laser technology processes.
In thin films field specialty – Pulsed Laser Deposition represents the main technological tool in our Laboratory for designing, growth and investigation of various kinds of thin films (metals, semiconductors, dielectrics), dense films, porous or nanostructured in form of nanowires.
